Friday 1st November was a much anticipated date in the Applewood diary… it was 20 years ago to the day that Milkwood Care opened its first home. There was no wind to show off our new commemorative flag but we didn’t mind – we celebrated with Prosecco and a chocolate fountain and residents and families enjoyed a buffet. Everyone loved the fireworks, even in the rain. Sybil was very proud of her granddaughter, Rachel, who sang for us.
