We have had our first trip of the year to the beach! And where else to go but our favourite beach – Barry Island! We spent the afternoon in the sunshine indulging on fish, chips and ice cream whilst admiring the beautiful views Barry has to offer! We took full advantage of our time at the beach and took a walk down on to the sand, where we built sandcastles and one resident got lucky on the grabber machine on his first go ,the resident have throughly enjoyed themselves. One said: “this is best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time”. We also asked one of the ladies what she thought of her trip out and she said: “what a cracking view, it’s nice to get out and about isn’t it!” and another said: “my ice cream was beautiful!”
