The Mountains have recently introduced Breakfast Club.
Every weekday, they have a table set up in the far side of the dining room to encourage residents to come and chat over breakfast and take part in activities. The ultimate aim is to try to promote activities for residents that are based around daily household routines, such as laying the table, preparing breakfasts and pouring tea. Residents are also encouraged to wash and dry their dishes and listen to gentle music whilst they enjoy their breakfast. Each day, the breakfast menu changes, so apart from the usual cereal, porridge and toast, there might be waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit salad and croissants. Breakfast, after all, is the most important meal of the day!
