Margaret Collins, a resident at Chatterwood, is very much into craft making – she has lots of bits and bobs to create beautiful artistic work! I had a really interesting conversation with Margaret, where she taught me about the differences between art techniques. After this lesson, I felt rather inspired, and I asked Margaret if she would like to run an art class at Chatterwood to help other residents express their creativity.
Margaret agreed to this idea and decided that her first class was to be card making. This turned out to be a successful session, in which Margaret demonstrated how to make the cards, before going on to explain the different techniques that can be used to create bespoke outcomes. Everyone enjoyed the session and we are all looking forward to Margaret’s next craft session.
