Care Assistant – Days – Liss, Hampshire

Milkwood House has 38 beds and offers the highest standards of residential care for the elderly in Liss, Hampshire, on the grounds of our sister home Chatterwood Nursing home.

We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, and compassionate carers, who are looking to become Care Workers and develop within the Care Sector.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 QCF/NVQ is preferred
  • Some Care-based experience is preferable but not essential

  • A full driver’s licence is preferred
  • Hold a current or willing to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check

  • To help and assist residents getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
  • Helping with personal care like washing, using the toilet, and dressing

  • Getting to know residents and their interests and needs
  • Caring, kind & enthusiastic
  • Good writing and reading skills
