Castleford residents and staff gathered in the gardens last week to witness a rare view of the Sun’s eclipse, made even more special as it landed on the same date as the Spring equinox and perigee of the moon. A spectacular sight not to be missed – residents watched the 85% eclipse safely through smoked glass panels.
