We have found the perfect way to stay cool on this very hot sunny day.
This afternoon, we visited the Castleford Ice Cream Parlour, where we treated ourselves to single and double scoop ice-creams and some delicious ice-cream sundaes.
The favourite sweet treat of the afternoon was undoubtedly the mint choc chip with a flake and everyone who had it said they thoroughly enjoyed it.
One resident said “the ice cream tasted beautiful, it was smooth and creamy”.
We had lots of fun at the parlour and everyone agreed that it was the perfect way to keep cool.
