David and Katy asked our maintenance man, Julian, to build a sleigh. Julian attached the sleigh to the sides of David’s wheelchair. David’s family organised and sent an outfit to him here. David filled little stockings with chocolates, then delivered them to most of the residents in their rooms. Everyone really enjoyed seeing Santa. David was thrilled with the sleigh, plus his outfit and thoroughly enjoyed giving everyone a present. It was a kind and generous gesture from David, and also from Julian for building the sleigh.
Some of the staff wore Christmas hats and T-shirts to get in the festive spirit.
