After Halloween and the fireworks, we decided to have a Disney character day at Chatterwood to brighten up the gloomy rainy days. The staff dressed up as Belle, Tweedle Dum, Minnie Mouse, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, a dalmation, and  many more.

Residents, Mary and Ruby, went the extra mile by adding accessories. Mary wore Mini Mouse ears and Ruby pinned her Minnie Mouse accessories to her that she bought when she visited Disney Land in Florida to her cardigan.

Lindsay sang and entertained us for the afternoon, whilst new residents, David and his wife Dorothy, sat and sang along and enjoyed a hand jive together. David hit the dance floor in his electric wheelchair, Doreen got up and danced with Evelyn, Doreen always loves to get up and dance. We ended the afternoon with a buffet tea.
