Today, following Easter tradition, we have created some beautiful Easter bonnets.We have used a variety of Easter-themed decorations and used glue guns to attach them to our bonnets. The residents have expressed their creativity and designed their own hats with a little bit of help! One of the residents told us: “I feel like the queen in this bonnet, you’ll have to curtesy down to me!”

This afternoon we have also experimented with our new cookbook to create some Mini Egg cookies! It was one of the ladies’ idea to do some baking today, as she is one of our top bakers. She appointed everyone involved their jobs: One resident was in charge of combining the ingredients, and some were quality control, so they got to sample the chocolate and the freshly-baked cookies and our chief baker oversaw everything and made sure everything was up to standard! She said: “it’s been a lovely afternoon. We’ve had a great team in the kitchen and it’s been brilliant cooking again.”The cookies turned out fantastic and we were all extremely pleased with them
