Today we held a Eurovision themed party ahead of the show tonight! We have had a European-themed buffet and selected different food from Britain, Portugal, Spain and Italy. We also had some traditional Spanish sangria to accompany our food, which always goes down well here! One resident absolutely loved the buffet and said: “its so different and makes a change. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it!”. We joined in the Wye Lounge and watched a compilation video of UK winners from 1957 to the present. We used our inflatable microphones and instruments and joined in where we could. We think the residents would make a fantastic band! We have had lovely afternoon, one resident said that she’s had “a cracking time” and thanked each individual person before she left the room
