Building works began at The Mountains back in October last year to fully refurbish the existing home and extend to add a further 10 ensuite bedrooms and additional communal areas to accommodate. With £600,000 having been invested into the project, this really is a transformation to be proud of. Milkwood Care Limited officially declared the works complete with an Open Day on 21st June. We welcomed the local community into the home to celebrate alongside us and to begin forging stronger links with residents from the area, council members, businesses, social services to name but a few. Overall the day was a great success and we feel confident that we have begun to develop positive community links that will in turn benefit our residents by opening up opportunity.
