Autumn would not be autumn without Harvest Festival. Residents chose a lovely poem written by Brenda Williams.

Our residents took a trip down Memory Lane as to what Harvest reminded them of in days gone by. Here are a few of their comments:

Betty remembers picking the last of the tomatoes including green ones to make chutney

Pat remembers picking peas for the day with her family and earning 14 shillings for the day

Joan remembers attending Harvest Festival at the local church and looking out for the spectacular Harvest Moon.
