Our lovely resident, Cathy, adores horses and has always grown up around them. As a young lady, she raised a foal, named Forrester, in her garage! She told us he was very cheeky but was loved by all the children in the neighbourhood. It was a wonderful surprise for her when her granddaughter brought her pony down to visit Cathy. Cathy was thrilled, as you can see from the big smile on her face. It was a lovely way to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon. A carrot was even stowed away from the kitchen as a little treat for the visitor.
