The Orchard put on a festive Valentine’s Day tea at our home to say ‘We remember and love you’ to those important people in our lives. Residents at The Orchard were treated to a special afternoon tea and entertainment, as well as crafting activities to help celebrate St Valentine’s Day.
It was a fun day, full of love and laughter, especially when our singer, Howard, serenaded our residents and handed them each a red rose. There were lots of blushes and nervous giggles from residents and staff as he sang a medley of love songs on bended knee to each and every resident. Nobody was forgotten. Residents in their rooms were delighted with a surprise visit from our wonderful Welsh singer, who presented them with a single red rose and a burst of ‘Rose Marie’ and ‘If You Were the Only Girl in the World ‘. It was a wonderful afternoon, filled with romance and laughter and one we all will remember for quite some time
