We were all very excited for Christmas at Braeburn Lodge. 2020 had been a tough year for us all but Christmas had given us lots to enjoy and look forward to. We went all out with decorations and our Santa feature display in the hall. The residents got involved with making decorations, decorating our many trees and even getting the vegetables ready for Christmas lunch. Everyone donned their festive finest for the day. There were lots of gifts to open, Santa left a stocking too!
Christmas Day lunch was cooked by Mandy and looked delicious. Before the special day, Mandy asked the residents what they would to like to eat and set about making their wishes come true. We enjoyed prawn cocktail, melon balls, followed by a roast dinner with all the trimmings. Pudding had to be a traditional Christmas cake with brandy cream… simply mouth-watering. We hope that you all celebrated Christmas in style – we certainly did!

We have thoroughly missed all the families today, but we made Braeburn Christmas very fun and special as we could. Merry Christmas near and far, and a much happier and peaceful new year!
