It’s Pimms o’clock at Castleford today!
We celebrated this sunny day with a Pimms party in the sensory garden with our residents.
To create the traditional Pimms drink we have harvested our home-grown strawberries and mint. We asked one of our residents how she felt about growing something in the garden and being able to eat it after and she said: “it was lovely, the strawberries were beautiful!”.
We have had a lovely afternoon with the drinks flowing and ABBA playing! One of our ladies’ appeared to really enjoy herself today and told us: “I loved my Pimms, it was so refreshing to have in this weather!”
