Our resident has always enjoyed both reading and listening to poetry and used to run the Petersfield Poetry Club, where she spent many happy years enjoying the works of different poets. The residents’ friends still send her poems and she enjoys us reading them to her and then discussing the contents of the poem. It always proves to be a very interactive session. The resident still likes to sit and give another resident ideas so they can write a poem together.
