Our residents were also delighted to hear the news from Clarence House that his Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, announced the engagement of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, on the 27^th November.

Our residents have a great deal of time for Prince Harry and are delighted for him! He campaigns for the Forces and represents many charitable causes. The wedding will be a spring wedding and the couple will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We wish them both the very best.

The residents were also delighted to hear about the 70^th wedding anniversary of The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. It was even more exciting, as we have quite a few residents born in the same year as The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh!
