As part of our reminiscence activity we made some 80’s style hair scrunchies. We dug out the sewing machine and our needles and had a go at making our very own scrunchies. It was so lovely to see the ladies sewing again, they were fantastic!

It is very important, here at the Mountains, that our residents remain as independent as possible. We encourage them to participate in doing household activities, such as laundry and sewing. As you can see, Rosa and Tara are busy sewing and mending clothes and making scrunchies. Mary Joyce is busy pairing up all her socks!
