Who doesn’t love a little shopping spree? Or sundaes? We certainly do, here at Castleford!
Yesterday we were lucky enough to be able to welcome Jackie Scarfe, who owns @Classic Clothing, back into the home. Jackie comes into the homes and sets up clothes and accessories in a shop layout for people to walk around and browse at their own leisure.
Some of our ladies and gents loved having the shopping experience brought to Castleford as they tried clothes on, looked around and even treated themselves! One of our ladies absolutely loved shopping and said: “it’s been lovely shopping in the house! I even treated myself to a new skirt!”.
Today we visited one of our favourite places, The Milky Baaa, for sundaes! A resident who has recently joined us, accompanied by another resident out this afternoon! She thoroughly enjoyed her first trip out and told us: “I’m honoured to have a sundae out with you girls!”.
