To keep everyone amused during lockdown, we often get the Karaoke machine out and staff and residents sing along. Abba seems to be the most popular choice, probably because everyone knows the words. We do this in the communal areas, the carers have been taking it around residents’ rooms for those who don’t come down to the lounge. The residents do find it amusing, although there are very few people that can sing!! But it is good fun and keeps everyone smiling.
