Whilst I sat with John having a coffee and a chat one morning, I asked John, “What would you like to do?” Jon paused for thought. When I was about to give him the choice of activities he might like to do, he replied, “I would like to just sit here and hold your hand!” Bless you, John, such a beautiful, simple request, warmly received, I was touched by his sweet response.
We sat for a little while looking out to the fields watching the sheep and together we paused for thought and I realised that sometimes it’s the little things in life that make a big difference.
