The team at The Lodge recently rescued 4 Hens from the British Hen Welfare Trust.
The British Hen Welfare Trust is a national charity that re-homes commercial laying hens,
educates the public about how they can make a difference to hen welfare,
and encourages support for the British egg industry.
The Lodge has had Hens for about a year, but they thought it was time to add to their
family of feathered friends. The clients here have enjoyed their regular supply of
eggs for breakfast, and hopefully you can see from the pictures the Hens are
happy in their new home.
