Residents and staff paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth II and marked her funeral with a dignified celebration of her life. At The Orchard, we watched the funeral together and reminisced about her life and time on the throne. We all agreed that she was an extraordinary woman who served our country very well. Our residents and staff raised a glass in her honour and made decorations that depicted her life from young to old. It was a poignant reminder of the passing of time, but also a time of celebration and hope for the future.
