This week we haven’t let the miserable weather get in the way of having some fun! Last night we had a Indian takeaway and today we created our own chocolate and participated in seasonal Tovertafel activities!
A couple of our residents indulged on a Indian takeaway last night, at their request. We have had selection of Korma, Rogan Josh and Butter chicken curry with all of the extras too! They enjoyed their meal and can’t wait to do it again! One said: “this is one of the best curries I have ever had!”
Two of our residents then got creative and concocted their own chocolate! We had a selection of ingredients for them to choose from and we cannot wait to try their marvellous creations when they are set! One said: “white chocolate is my wife’s favourite, can we save her some?” So we have popped a bowl full of white chocolate buttons to her, who was over the moon!
One of our residents used the Autumn Tovertafel activity as we have officially hit the season! We enjoyed the magic the table has to offer whilst we interacted with the Autumn leaves. We then decided to get creative and make an autumnal hanging decoration for our home, which she thought was “beautiful”.
