This weekend a couple of our residents visited The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, to hit the shops!
One resident wanted to get some new shoes and he enjoyed browsing around the shops the Mall has to offer. He chose some dashing new kicks and is extremely pleased with his purchases, he was even confident enough to go to the checkout independently and count out the money to pay. He said: “I’m happy with my new shoes, I haven’t been to the till in years, I’m really glad I did it!”
One of our ladies’ eyes were caught by the famous Percy Pig! She fell in love with the cute, fluffy plush and we couldn’t resist purchasing him and taking him on our shopping experience with us.
We stopped off at Millies Cookies for hot chocolate and cookies before heading outside to see the Coca Cola truck! We all enjoyed the festive atmosphere and admiring the truck. Our resident said: “it really feels like Christmas now!”
As we headed home, the big yellow M caught their eyes and we couldn’t turn down a McDonald’s to finish off our wonderful afternoon. Both residents said that you can’t beat the McDonald’s fries and we couldn’t agree more!
