Today, we were able to grant one of our residents, her wishing tree trip, which was to go to The Range in Newport Whilst this may seem like a simple request, it meant a lot to her and she was over the moon when we told her we were taking her there today! We have taken full advantage of a spot of retail therapy and she has bought herself some flowers for her room and some baking equipment to make some cakes on the weekend! As we made our way home the post-shopping hunger kicked in so we stopped off for a KFC. What shopping trip is complete if you don’t eat out?! She has continuously thanked us for taking her down to The Range and told us that she has had a “fantastic afternoon out”.
