All our homes made sure to celebrate Halloween! Here are few photos of what our residents at Milkwood got up to…

We went out for a lovely cup of tea at the Chepstow garden centre.

Here is Natasha, a complimentary therapist, who visits the home fortnightly to give relaxing therapy to our residents.

When Mick and John heard we had two beautiful birds coming in to visit, this was not what they had in mind… But they were pleasantly surprised!

Some of the residents enjoyed the artefacts from the Military museum Brecon in the comfort of their home. Here is Delia trying on a hat and looking through the clothing range during the war period.

Iris and May spent a day out and firstly visited the grave of May’s late husband – Jack – who was a resident with us until early this year. Iris and May rounded off their outing with a lovely afternoon tea and dinner.  

Doug and his new great grand daughter – the dog is not amused! Hilda with her 3 year old great grand daughter… there’s a 90 year difference in their ages!

The Spangles joined us for the afternoon. They sang some great songs for us and we were more than                                                      happy to join in with them.
