Our home is your home
Chatterwood is set in idyllic private gardens and located in Liss, Hampshire. The house is intimate, with a homely feel. The interior boasts living spaces decorated with upbeat colours and a large, bright conservatory that allows light to flood in.
All bedrooms have wet rooms and stylish, co-ordinated décor. There’s a mixture of single and double rooms, and all have views over the extensive gardens that contain a variety of rare and fascinating trees. A recent revamp has resulted in a new state of the art kitchen, an extended dining room, landscaped gardens and even a hairdressing salon, where our residents enjoy a relaxing pamper.
Our bright, airy living spaces present a cheery welcome and a passenger lift to the first floor ensures wheelchair access throughout the home. We have the latest technology enabling our residents and visitors to be up to date and connected during their stay here. WiFi, broadband and iPads are available for everyone to enjoy.

When did you join Milkwood Care?
November 2024, I have worked in Health and Social care for 37 years, and as Registered Manager for 4 years.
What is the best part of your role?
The best part of my role is being an inclusive leader, sharing my vision and knowledge with my team, creating strategies based on transparency, equity, equality and human rights, diversity and inclusion, engagement and understanding challenges and the needs of people we support, in order to meet these.
Your favourite activity in the home is?
My favourite activity in the Home is learning daily how to be better in what I/we (as team) do, how to excel and exceed people’s expectations in providing care and support to both staff and service users, making sure we provide the right support, right care and culture.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I am a natural carer since I was a child, I just wanted to care for people
Who would you want to be stranded on a desert island with?
On a dessert island I would like to be with Donald Trump as I will never be bored, either him or Elon Musk
