Our home is your home
Chatterwood is set in idyllic private gardens and located in Liss, Hampshire. The house is intimate, with a homely feel. The interior boasts living spaces decorated with upbeat colours and a large, bright conservatory that allows light to flood in.
All bedrooms have wet rooms and stylish, co-ordinated décor. There’s a mixture of single and double rooms, and all have views over the extensive gardens that contain a variety of rare and fascinating trees. A recent revamp has resulted in a new state of the art kitchen, an extended dining room, landscaped gardens and even a hairdressing salon, where our residents enjoy a relaxing pamper.
Our bright, airy living spaces present a cheery welcome and a passenger lift to the first floor ensures wheelchair access throughout the home. We have the latest technology enabling our residents and visitors to be up to date and connected during their stay here. WiFi, broadband and iPads are available for everyone to enjoy.

Meet The Manager
Jack has been a valued member of the Milkwood team since 2018, working his way up from Care Assistant all the way through to Registered Manager. He started his career at Milkwood House, and moved to our nursing home located on the same site, Chatterwood House, in 2026.

What is the best part of your role?
Seeing our residents being supported by the team to live as fulfilled and comfortable life as possible.
What is your favorite activity in the home?
The busier the home the better! I love the garden parties, karaoke and BBQs. Its all about seeing the residents enjoying themselves for me!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A nurse!
Who would you want to be stranded on a desert island with?
A decent cook!! Being stranded is bad enough – let alone being hungry as well!!
