Milkwood House offers the highest standards of residential care in a relaxed and intimate environment set within the idyllic location of Liss, Hampshire.
Milkwood House benefits from two comfortable lounges, one upstairs which is busy and engaging and a smaller, quieter lounge downstairs with outlook over the well-matured gardens. We also offer hairdressing facilities and weekly manicures.
A homely, stylish and characterful home set in beautiful, matured gardens accessible to all with regular garden parties and our gardening club, Milkwood Mulchers.

Meet The Manager
Lisa joined the Milkwood House team in 2026, but had previously been employed at their sister home Chatterwood House as a Registered Nurse and Deputy Manager.
What is the best part of your role?
Being able to improve the quality of care, while supporting, training, and coaching staff to develop their skills and consistently provide excellent care.
Your favourite activity in the home is?
I love food, so I really enjoy being part of mealtimes with the residents. It is lovely to see them enjoying their meals and the wonderful food prepared for them.
What are the 3 words that sum up your home?

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Prop maker, designer, manager, I like to be creative.
Who would you want to be stranded on a desert island with? And why?
I would like to say Jamie Oliver, I bet he can cook up some nice bugs, but I would not be without my husband.
