104 Years Young!

Les had a wonderful day celebrating his 104th birthday with friends & family all coming to visit him. Singing great songs that Les loved and les telling us of all his wonderful travels and experiences throughout his fabulous life. Les is our absolute treasure and a fantastic man. VE Day at Applewood

Residents took part in the VE Day service, where the Major raised the flag to mark 80 years since Victory in Europe. The day concluded with a lively street party filled with music, food, and plenty of fun for all.

Amused Tool Kit

Our new Amused Toolkit had so many amazing Activities
to do. It was donated to us very kindly. It has so many fun
quizzes, music from back in the day, sand to make sand castles
a sensory activity, we have little pots that have seaside smells
inside that brings back so many memories

We enjoyed a wonderful VE Day celebration! We were delighted to be joined by the amazing Sue and Kerry, who entertained our residents with a wartime favorite sing-along and dance. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all our residents—and staff too!
