A day at Chepstow Racecourse was enjoyed by staff, residents and family one gloomy November afternoon. Despite the unpredictable weather, The Orchard braved the elements and made their way to the famous racecourse. We are glad we did, as we all had a great time. We settled in the restaurant and watched the racing on the TV – here, it was comfortable and warm! We enjoyed lunch from The Grill and a hot drink and watched our horses gallop home. Several of our party had some luck and watched their horses finish first which was great to see! Staff at the racecourse made us feel very welcome and happily escorted us to a dry area for lunch. On the whole, a great time was had by us all on a very wet November afternoon.
