This month has been busy, busy; with Halloween parties, Milkwood Care anniversary celebrations and a resident’s 100th birthday!! On November 1st, Janet and Robin, the owners, celebrated 20 years since the opening of their first Milkwood Care home – Milkwood House! Janet, Robin, Cris and Tracy are pictured here, cutting the delicious celebration cake that was later enjoyed by all the staff and residents.

We took lots of photos at the Milkwood Care anniversary party on1st November. Shaun entertained residents with some brilliant singing. He then rushed off to light the fireworks that were set off at exactly 6pm. At this time, there were fireworks displays set off simultaneously above all of the nine Milkwood Care homes. 

We held a big party here in Milkwood House, the first home opened by our owners. Our chef, Boyet, prepared a lovely homemade buffet, including freshly made spring rolls, chicken satay and a beautiful Filipino noodle dish. He also designed the most beautiful swan out of a melon. The party was a huge success and everyone enjoyed the fireworks and the music and many joined in with the live singing from Shaun.
