Residents at The Orchard and Ganarew house were treated to a wonderful carol concert performed by brass band – The A W Parker (Drybrook) Band.
Residents enjoyed listening and singing along to a medley of Christmas carols, all expertly performed outside in the grounds of our care homes.
To keep warm, mulled wine and mince pies were served, which added to the festive spirit.
The concert was made even more special as our wonderful housekeeper, Amanda, played the euphonium in the band and helped to organise this special event.
Residents and staff throughly enjoyed the wonderful carol concert, festive food and drink. It certainly got everyone into the spirit of Christmas and we left feeling very Christmassy. Thank you to Amanda and the other members of the brass band for visiting our care homes and performing such a wonderful concert for us all to enjoy.
