Beryl was 90 years young in February. She enjoyed the chocolate birthday cake she asked for, as well as lots of cards and flowers from her friends and family.

We celebrated St David’s Day by making daffodils with David and Shirley, and some of the staff joined in and lent a hand. Christine and Judith enjoyed helping to cut out the flowers for the daffodils – the flowers looked very jolly.

The residents chose Chinese for our international dish this month. The noodles were a real hit. Everyone enjoyed the meal.Judith and Pam choose to eat theirs in the dining room, whilst Beryl decided to enjoy hers in her room.

Everyone enjoyed spending time making cards for their loved ones. Several of the residents created pictures telling what Valentine’s Day means to them. We hung all the artists’ work in the lounge for everyone to see. On Valentine’s Day, Judith received flowers from her husband, which she loved.
