In the garden Some residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the lawn, sipping tea, nibbling biscuits, and adding a splash of creativity with a bit of art too. In addition, residents showed great creativity and patience when making paper roses, resulting in some beautiful blooms that brightened the room.

Carole enjoyed a relaxing trip to the nail salon, where she was pampered with a soothing manicure that left her feeling refreshed and cared for. Separately, we enjoyed a lovely shopping trip followed by a cosy coffee stop at Labels.

We marked VE Day with a wonderful day of music, memories, and community spirit. The morning began with a visit from Touchwood, and our residents enjoyed a cheerful sing-along. Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of Easter-themed crafts, delighting everyone by creating adorable pom-pom bunny feet. It was a wonderful way to share some festive cheer and creativity together.

Enjoying the sunshine! Our gardens are in full bloom, and we’re embracing the sunshine by enjoying time together with a cuppa in the garden. Birthday celebrations Here at Ganarew House, we have also been celebrating our wonderful ladies who have had spring birthdays this month with delicious cakes and lots of smiles.

Ganarew House have a beautiful new bird table, as requested by our residents – and we have already welcomed a lovely visitor. 

Christmas Day at Ganarew means lots of visitors, a plethora of presents, and a traditional feast complete with crackers and decorations.  We love making this season as special as possible for our residents, and we are so grateful for all our staff who work so hard to make it such a heartwarming period.

The staff and residents of Ganarew were delighted to welcome Monmouth Baptist Church to their home for a special carol performance featuring puppets.

The Ganarew Christmas Fete was a great success. Thank you to all the staff who worked hard to prepare for the day, especially Jenny, Bridget and the cooks for making a LOT of cakes.
