Staff and residents from Milkwood House took a trip into Portsmouth to visit Cumberland House Natural History Museum & Butterfly House. It was fascinating. They ended the visit with a cup of tea by Canoe Lake, and managed to make a friend with a swan who seemed set on coming home with them!

The Milkwood House residents spent a lovely morning at The Triangle (Liss Community Association) having a natter and enjoying a cuppa. The toasted tea cakes were delicious!

Celebrating Chocolate at Milkwood House

We love chocolate and we love a quiz! That’s why we decided to hold a chocolate tasting quiz. Our residents blind-tasted 5 different chocolate bars and matched them to their pictures. It was good fun and very tasty!

Nothing beats a cuppa and a cake on a Monday afternoon. Some people talk about January being a dreary month, but we always find time to get together and enjoy a warm drink and some treats.

A Christmas Singalong

We have had the best start to our Christmas celebrations. A Christmas party with our friends at the Dementia choir and a good ‘ole Christmas singsong on Christmas Eve Eve. Music really is therapy for all of our residents.
