The Mountains

We held a beach activity day! This day beside the seaside (in the grounds of the home) was enjoyed by all residents! Beach garlands and cocktails by the sea were enjoyed by many residents!

We all love a bit of music therapy and we have been making our own music, over the last few weeks. It’s been music to our ears to be able to listen to melodies, bells and beats – very cheerful.

It was a busy day for the men (and ladies!) on Father’s Day. Many of our chaps received presents and cards from their loved ones and everyone helped to design our Father’s Day display.

We have some very creative and talented residents who like to spend their time drawing and painting. Look at the excellent concentration on the faces of these two artists.

Here are some of the residents enjoying a few games of bingo. Some of them can get quite competitive at times!

Just because we’re staying in most of the time, doesn’t mean that our ladies will miss out on manicures. Some of the ladies are enjoying having their nails painted – it’s always lovely to be pampered.

During lockdown, we’ve become used to keeping in touch with the outside world with video calls between residents and their loved ones. It’s a fantastic way for everyone to feel connected and reassured, during these tough times.
