The Mountains

We are making the most of the Spring sunshine. Raymond has enjoyed time in the garden getting the beds ready for more planting for our Spring bulbs.

As the weather gets brighter and warmer, some of our residents have been enjoying time in the garden. Our gents have hung up our bird feeders and Tom has been enjoying some music time outside, he said he could “do this all day”.

Our residents had a fabulous time celebrating St David’s Day with a full lunch menu, complete with Welsh Cakes of course! Later we popped on some music and all had a good old dance and sing song! A great day was had by all!

We’ve had a lovely morning making trifles. We think the ladies have done a fab job , they look delicious!

We have enjoyed some games this afternoon, there was some keen competition taking place!

This morning we have been busy making some bird feeders to hang out, I’m sure we will make lots of new friends in the garden!

Some of the residents enjoyed having their hair cut and dyed today thanks to the fabulous Melissa Rice. Some of the gents also had help polishing off their boots! Looking gorgeous everyone!

This morning we have turned our hands to preparing corned beef and onion pasties, everybody enjoyed, it looks like we have some hidden cooks in the building!

We have all enjoyed a music and movement session this morning with lots of old favourite songs along with instruments and sensory items, an enjoyable time had by all!
