Our Christmas party on the 21st was fantastic. Castleford choir made a come back. We sounded great and didn’t burst any eardrums!

I received my NAPA (National Activity Providers Association) OCNLR Level 2 award in Supporting Activity Provision in Social Care at the end of September 2015, which means l am now registered as an Activity Worker. Residents at Applewood went to The Anvil in Basingstoke to see Jack and the Beanstalk. The Dame came and met us all afterwards.

Sarah Ann has a new baby doll who she looks after her well and Val loves her new dolly!

We had a big birthday after Christmas. Mabel Hudson turned 105. Troy and Rose made a beautiful cake for her. She also received a lovely card from the Queen and a telegram from the Department of Work and Pensions. Mable was joined for the day by some close friends who celebrated with her.
