Today our residents had an amazing afternoon with the visit of Rocky & Nelson… Rocky is the white Barn Owl & Nelson is the brown Tawny Owl. This made Pamela’s afternoon as she absolutely adores owls!

So…. today our lovely residents have had a real farm experience! They all enjoyed the Company of the animals! Residents from Chatterwood nursing home joined us at Milkwood too! We all had fun! A big thank you to the Mill Cottage Farm Experience team for this brilliant day!

Today our Residents wasted no time to get outside to their vegetables, together they harvested their potatoes and courgettes which they planted earlier in the year! The rest of the other vegetables are coming along nicely. 🥒🥕🍅🥔

Today we planned a summer picnic under our new gazebo, sadly summer had other ideas and thought best to give the new gazebo a shower! So we brought the picnic inside and everybody enjoyed themselves.
