Today we raised a toast to The Queen on her birthday and celebrated, in true Castleford style, with a Cocktail Masterclass!
We gathered in the sensory garden where all the residents participated in making their own cocktails! The gents worked together and created a classic mojito and the ladies concocted what they called “the easy drinker!”
After our mixologists produced some amazing drinks we sat down for lunch and enjoyed the fruit kebabs that we made earlier today.
We asked a couple of the residents what they thought of their cocktail making experience, one resident said: “they’re bloody marvellous if I do say so myself!”. Another thought the drinks were lovely and said: “I would have preferred just cocktails for lunch!”
