Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales and the southern United Kingdom, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. At 886 metres above sea-level, it is also the highest British peak south of Snowdonia.

A group of staff from The Mountains Care Home decided to take on the challenge and climb to the top to raise funds for Comic Relief. Battling through the cold and snowy conditions, the team made it to the top in 2 hours and were pleased to return to warmth upon their descent!

We’d like to congratulate the group on their tremendous effort and double their funds raised bringing in a total of £450.
