Glow Party!

The residents had a fantastic evening celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights, at our Glow Party. Recognising that many staff members were away from their families during this important celebration, we organised an event that both staff and residents could enjoy together! We curated a playlist featuring Hindu, Bollywood, and Indian-style music, accompanied by an array of glow sticks and sensory items for our residents to engage with. The vibrant and colourful lights, created from various resources, captivated many, leading to plenty of smiles and a sense of wonder among the attendees. The party was a tremendous success, and as the evening progressed, we transitioned to more relaxing music and soothing sounds, creating a calm atmosphere for everyone to wind down and enjoy the rest of the evening.
