To prepare for Easter, we sampled a variety of different hot cross buns. With a whopping six different flavours to choose from our hot cross buns were toasted, buttered, and served hot with an obligatory cup of tea.From savoury to sweet, the flavoured buns left people torn, but the most favoured bun this year was a tie between extremely chocolatey and extremely cheesy, courtesy of Marks and Spencer’s which according to Louise: “only sells the best.”

Colleen was in her element, as she told us that hot cross buns are her second favourite part of Easter, behind chocolate, of course. Colleen said, “Proper butter and chocolate hot cross buns are almost as good as Sir Cliff!”
