At this year’s Care Show in Birmingham on Wednesday 11th October they are showcasing the “Thirty Under 30”, a brand new initiative dedicated to fostering young talent in the care sector today, celebrating tomorrow’s leaders and their successes – choosing the best thirty people working in social care under the age of 30.

Amazingly, Castleford House saw Megan Barrett, Tom Bethell, Jade Maber and Holly Gardiner nominated, but because of the incredibly high standard of application they did not get through. It is still an incredible achievement to get through to the judging stage.

However, we are delighted to announce that Care Assistant, Angel Mckenzie, and Head of Lifestyle, Amelia Pace, are in the inaugural Care Show Thirty Under 30 Class of 2023!

Angel is one of only six care assistants/support workers and Amelia is the only lifestyles coordinator in a class dominated by registered managers, operations managers, COO’s, directors and more!

We are incredibly proud of the team members who made the nominations, of those nominated and of Angel and Amelia for making the final thirty!
