One of the aims for staff at Castleford House is to go above and beyond – to better ourselves where we can. That’s exactly what Candice Anderson, Katherine King, Anna Mason, Amelia Pace and Rebeka Sternad are doing, as they prepare to undertake their QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management courses.

This advanced course helps educate staff about the nuances of leadership and goes towards preparing people to lead teams or even manage care settings. This is the first time that the qualification has been undertaken by care staff at Castleford. It’s hoped that this training will further improve the already high standards that are offered here, by strengthening the way that the home is managed.
