Today is National Thank You day! To commemorate this day we have created thank you cards, handed out roses and thought about what we’re thankful for!
To show our thanks to our community we have created cards and personalised each one to give thanks for supporting us, especially during uncertain times that we have recently experienced.
To show our appreciation and thanks for the team at Castleford we handed out roses, cards and homemade chocolate! One resident was a brilliant today and helped us give out the gifts.
We have also encouraged people to think about what they are thankful for. We had some beautiful responses which we are delighted to share with you! One of our favourites quotes was from one of our ladies, who, when we knelt down to ask her what she was thankful for, replied: “that you’re here for me”. It was a heart warming moment and really gives meaning to our job!
