Today, we celebrated ‘National Wine Day’. Even though this is traditionally only celebrated in America, we couldn’t resist joining in on this celebration! To commemorate the day we have created a charcuterie board and sampled some Merlot, Rosé and Chardonnay. Our charcuterie board was made up of salamis, chorizo and cheese! Elsie said that the salami was “absolutely lovely!”. The three different wines went down extremely well! One resident managed to sample each wine but the Rosé was her favourite. Another described the wine as “sharp, sweet and gorgeous!”.
